Unsupervised

“Freedom is a lot weirder than anyone tells you.”

Valerie Jones

Editor’s Note

For most of my life,
somebody needed something from me.

Parents. Husbands. Children. Clients. Deadlines. Expectations.

Then one day I looked around and realized nobody was checking where I was, what I was doing, or when I’d be home. Which sounds amazing until it actually happens.

Because freedom is a lot weirder than anyone tells you.

Unsupervised is my attempt to make sense of it. The plot twists, bad ideas, reinventions, adventures, mistakes, observations, and occasional moments of brilliance that happen when a woman finds herself unexpectedly free.

Welcome.
